Letters from Burns Elemenatry

posted Oct 18, 2012, 3:37 PM by WyomingSTARBASE

Mrs.  Halligan from Burn’s elementary sent Wyoming STARBASE Academy some letters written by her students. They were so special we wanted to share a few quotes from them.  The students are aware that only 76 STARBASES exist in the United States and that not all fifth graders get the opportunity to experience the hands on, minds on science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) activities.

“I loved it today because we had a bunch of different stations.”  Sizzle

“I think STARBASE should be for everybody because it is a good program and there will be more engineers.”  Woofy-W

“You guys make science a learning time fun in a whole different way. I hope to work there someday.” Elizabeth

“ Hand-on to me is a lot better that the teacher showing me because I actually get to try it!” Zoomy-Z

“One of things to tell you is I think STARBASE should be nationwide. I bet a lot of people at my old school would love this.” Raven Crow

“You are dedicated to make our missions succeed.” Keenan

“I think that STARBASE could let more fifth graders throughout Wyoming go.” Meow

Thank you for your letters!
